Privacy policy
A fuller draft of this page, with a plain-English summary, is in our trust centre.
Last updated: 9 October 2026. This policy explains how [ENTITY NAME] ('we'), [REGISTERED ADDRESS], handles personal data in qypu at qypu.ai and app.qypu.ai.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, work email, organisation, role, and login records.
- Connected platform data: when you connect Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube, we receive access tokens and the profile, page and post information covered by the permissions you grant (for example page names, post content you publish through us, and post insights).
- Content you provide: brand interview answers, uploaded media, drafts, edits and approvals.
- Usage and security data: IP address, device and browser data, audit logs, and error reports.
2. How we use it
- To provide the service: draft, schedule and publish content you approve to accounts you connected, and show results.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not use platform data for advertising profiles or to train general-purpose AI models.
3. AI processing
Drafts are produced with third-party AI model providers acting as our sub-processors. Inputs are limited to what is needed for the draft. See AI transparency.
4. Sharing
We share data only with sub-processors that help us run the service (hosting, database, AI model providers, email and error monitoring), with the platforms you instruct us to publish to, or where required by law. A list of sub-processors is available on request at privacy@qypu.ai.
5. Google and YouTube data
qypu uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke access at Google security settings.
6. Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active. Platform tokens are deleted when you disconnect an account. After account closure we delete or anonymise data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. [RETENTION PERIODS - counsel to confirm]
7. Data deletion
You can disconnect any platform in app.qypu.ai and delete your workspace at any time. You can also request deletion by email to privacy@qypu.ai, or, for Facebook and Instagram, by removing qypu in your Facebook settings (Apps and websites); we then receive a deletion request and give you a confirmation code. Full instructions and a status lookup: Data deletion.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. Contact privacy@qypu.ai. You may also complain to your data-protection authority. [JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC TEXT - counsel to confirm]
9. International transfers
Data may be processed outside your country, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM]
